Sealing Foams

An essential part of our industry area consists of our high-quality and specialised sealing foams.

Our foams are customised to the requirements profiles of the different final applications. Controlled pore-size and air permeability, combined with good resilience, enable our customers to perfectly manufacture their product to comply with different requirements in the transport and construction areas. Our product portfolio includes a range of different foam qualities as block product, sheet product or cut to size.

Ink Roller Foams
Different ester-foams with very fine-cells and a homogenous pore structure. The processer has the best prerequisites for efficiently achieving a perfect “colour image”. The foam qualities are available as block products and cut to size.

Household Product Foams
Household products such as pot cleaners, sponges, brooms and brushes also make use of the unique features of our PUR soft foams. The characteristics are closely coordinated with our customers according to the respective requirements profile; customised equipment is possible. In addition to the offered block, sheet and cut-to-size products, we can also combine different materials into a functional semi-finished product.

Impregnation

Impregnating foams leads to additional function in a foam (e.g. fire protection, conductive properties or corrosion protection). For years, we collected the know-how to improve our foams and to offer best support to our clients where manufacture of their products is concerned.

METZONOR® Acoustics Foams

This includes our ester- and ether-based polyurethane foams (block foams). They are available in different volume weights, compression hardnesses and colours. Additionally, different customer specifications can be met by special foams (e.g. low emission foams, LoM ®, compliant with, e.g., Daimler’s requirements).

REBOND

The rebond area recycles scraps from the different company areas. This results in completely new products to be used in the automotive, construction and shoe industry areas.

Exact adjustment of the production parameters once more enables production of technically sophisticated rebond solutions. One of its main uses is found in the shoe industry (inlay soles).

DryTec – A Good Feeling…

DryTec is a PUR-based functional composite foam developed especially for use inside shoes.

Its perfect climate function and its excellent permanent usage characteristics are decisive for continuous wearing comfort.

The communicative DryTec foam matrix cells lead to permanent climate control. When walking, the DryTec sole’s air circulation is increased through the pumping effect.

Refreshing at every step. At the same time, comfort and hygiene inside the shoe are improved.
